It’s the time of cakes, cookies and biscuits. Since we’re all rushing and managing between gift shopping, apartment decorating and cooking, sometimes an easy, couple of ingredients recipe comes in handy. Therefor I created this recipe with 4 ingredients and 20-25 minutes of effort. It’s for all of us ladies who joggle 101 things on a daily basis. This is how it went down in my house while I made those beauties.
- 200 g all purpose flour
- 200 g fresh cheese
- 150 g of butter
- Mix together the first three ingredients into a dough. You’ll need about 7-10 minutes. Cover with cling film and leave in the fridge for an hour. I scrubbed the bathroom and vacuumed the apartment in the meantime.
- After one hour turn on the oven to 180 Celsius degrees. Roll out the dough into half a centimeter thick. Cut out into squares. Put a tea spoon of Nutella into the middle of each square and connect two opposite edges. Lay onto the tray covered with baking paper.
- Bake for 20 minutes until lightly blushed. Meanwhile I managed to untangle Christmas lights.
- Sprinkle with icing sugar while warm (not hot). And voila. Enjoy these sweet delights in your clean, decorated apartment. Multitasking is everything.
The pastry is like puff pastry, soft and lightly crunchy. And when you get to the sweet part…heaven (of course you can stuff with jam, tahini or go for cheese/ham salty option).
